GigDecider AI is engineered with an intentional on-device architecture. Core gig evaluation tools, floating screen OCR analysis, tax deductions, and mileage tracking operate locally on your device without mandatory sign-in.
GigDecider AI never transmits your delivery screenshots, screen contents, vehicle telemetry, or tax logs to external proprietary servers.
1Information We Collect & Process
Account Information (Optional)
When you sign in using Google Sign-In or Firebase Authentication (to unlock Pro features or sync subscriptions across devices), we collect your email address, display name, and a unique user identifier (Firebase UID). This data is used solely for user authentication, account management, and entitlement restoration.
Precise & Approximate Location Data
GPS coordinates are accessed exclusively while mileage tracking is active to calculate business trip distance, deductions, and IRS-compliant logs.Location records are stored strictly in an encrypted local database on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
Screen Content via Accessibility Services
The floating calculator utilizes Android Accessibility APIs (takeScreenshot()) solely when you tap the trigger button to evaluate gig offers (pay, mileage, pickup/dropoff).All OCR computer vision processes happen ephemerally in-memory on your device. Screenshots are never saved to disk or transmitted off-device.
Financial & Subscription Records
When purchasing a Pro subscription, payments are processed by Google Play. We record your subscription entitlement status and purchase tokens via RevenueCat to validate access and enable purchase restoration.
Diagnostics & Crash Logs
We collect anonymous crash logs and diagnostic metrics via Firebase Crashlytics to monitor application stability and resolve unexpected errors.
2Security & Data Encryption
We employ strict industry-standard security measures to safeguard user data:
- Encryption in Transit: All communications between the app, Firebase, and RevenueCat are encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (HTTPS/TLS).
- On-Device Encryption: Local trip ledgers and cached configuration data are secured within the app sandbox using hardware-backed encrypted storage.
- Zero Credential Storage: GigDecider AI never requests, stores, or accesses passwords or credentials for any gig platforms (DoorDash, Uber, Grubhub, etc.).

We partner with trusted third-party providers who process data strictly on our behalf under compliant data processing agreements:
Google Firebase & Authentication (Google LLC)

4Account & Data Deletion Policy
In accordance with Google Play developer policies and global data privacy standards, users have full control over their personal data:
1. Server-Stored Account Data: If you linked a Google account and wish to permanently delete your account, email address, subscription link, and associated identifiers, you can submit a deletion request by emailing support@gigdecider.app with the subject line "Delete Account and Data". All associated cloud records will be permanently purged within 30 days.
2. Local Device Data: Because all trip histories, OCR benchmarks, and mileage ledgers reside exclusively on your mobile hardware, you can instantly erase all local records at any time by clearing the application storage in your Android settings or uninstalling the app.
